Terms & Conditions

Legally binding protocols governing the relationship between the Company and the Client.

Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Himalayan Terrain by Archive and any client participating in our expeditions.

By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms for yourself and all members of your group.

Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a completed booking form and the required deposit.

Final balance is due no later than 45 days before departure. Inaccurate passport or medical disclosures leading to permit failure are the sole responsibility of the client.

Itinerary Variability

Trekking in Nepal involves inherent variability. Lead guides have full authority to modify any itinerary in the interest of safety.

Such changes do not entitle the client to a refund or compensation.

Medical & Liability

Limitation: Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific trip. proven negligence excepted.

Concealing medical conditions may result in removal from the trip at the client's own cost.

3. Payment Terms

6. Mandatory Insurance

• High-Altitude Rescue (6,500m+)

• Medical & Hospitalization

• Repatriation Coverage

Policy details must be submitted 30 days prior to departure. Failure to hold insurance removes company responsibility for evacuation costs.

9. Code of Conduct

Zero tolerance for disruptive or disrespectful behavior. You must follow all instructions from guides and respect local customs, religious sites, and sacred protocols.

Removal without refund is at guide discretion.

Documentation

Clients are responsible for valid passports (6 months+) and visas. All government permit fees are included unless noted.

Governing Law

Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Unresolved disputes are submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kathmandu courts.
